International Annual Conference and General Assembly 2009 - Programme
Innovative Thinking organised by SenterNovem
With regard to the Covenant of Mayors and the high ambitions municipalities and regions set themselves, it is increasingly becoming important to involve all stakeholders in the process of achieving a sustainable future. The IEE project "Innovative Thinking" which involved 7 European countries developed different ways of stimulating citizens, companies, builders and other stakeholders to participate in projects on energy reduction and the use of renewable energy. We want to share our experiences. Therefore we will have presentations on our positive experiences and we will have innovative workshops to look for solutions for the obstacles we encountered.

European Display Users Club organised by Energie-Cites
This event will be another opportunity for you to gather with other municipalities and members from the private sector to discuss the pleasures and challenges of using energy certificates to communicate. Organised the day before the TCA Awards ceremony, this meeting will focus on local communication activities. So, present your local campaign, listen to the advice of other experienced authorities and be inspired by the presentations from the finalists of the 2008/9 TCA Awards.
