Every year from 16 to 22 September, European citizens have the opportunity to enjoy a full week of events dedicated to sustainable mobility organised by their city.

European Mobility Week 2010 "Travel Smarter, Live Better"

From September 16th through 20th, the 9th European Mobility Week (EMW)
will focus on health and mobility. Climate Alliance is inviting all cities and
municipalities to participate in the EMW so as to send a clear signal of
commitment to sustainable travel behaviour.

With "Travel Smarter, Live Better", participating municipalities of the EMW
should address the problems of physical inactivity and the prevalence of
people who are overweight, while at the same time improving the physical
and mental well being of their citizens.
