Climate Alliance has committed to supporting its members and maximising the impact of the initiative. As an official ‘Covenant Supporter’ since October 2009, the network offers you:
- Personalised guidance to build your strategy;
- Ready-to-use tools and methods that support the development of your baseline emission inventory and the sustainable energy action plan;
- Visibility to your success stories;
- Platforms to exchange between committed cities and to influence national and EU energy and climate policy.
These are assets we bring to the table as Covenant Supporter in order to help municipalities engage in the Covenant of Mayors.

Climate Alliance has developed a comprehensive and easy-to-read CLIMAIL brochure (EN, DE), providing a closer look at the Covenant of Mayors initiative. With this new leaflet at hand, members can get familiar with the Covenant step-by-step process, its methodological framework and some inspiring examples of fellow signatories. The CLIMAIL also places particular emphasis on the tools and methodology proposed by Climate Alliance – as official Supporter – to reach the Covenant commitments.
