Consultation on financial support for energy efficiency in buildings

13.04.2012 - The European Commission has launched a new consultation on financial support for energy efficiency in buildings to collect views on how to improve the current financial schemes. This consultation is launched in a very strategic moment as the development process of the new Energy Efficiency Directive is underway and the current proposal includes a yearly renovation rate for public buildings of 2.5%.

Please find here the main questions raised by the Commission. We would invite you to send us your answers, or any comments that you might have, by 10 May. All answers will be gathered to a common response document, which will be sent to the European Commission, and presented at the first meeting of the Climate Alliance financing working group in the context of our Annual Conference in St.Gallen. We would like to thank you already in advance for your contributions.
